WOO it’s finally Friday! I couldn’t be more excited. I have some super fun plans this weekend that I can’t wait to share with you next week! But first, I want to recap this week and share some exciting news!

My weeks are usually repetitious, and involve the same things repeatedly for 4 straight days (Friday nights I like to mix it up and stay up late πŸ˜‰ #oldlady).

Monday- I woke up to start week 2 of Country Heat! I love it so far and it’s going smoothly. We started two different videos this week and I love it because it switches things up! Breakfast consisted of eggs (per usual) and my Shakeology!

When I got home from work and my run Monday night, Mark and I made yummy potatoes and super crunchy salmon.. It was so good and so easy! To make the potatoes: ~Preheat oven to 425 ~boil potatoes until soft then cut into chunks ~toss with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and italian seasoningΒ ~bake for 30-45 minutes and toss halfway through. Β To make the salmon: ~coat filet of salmon in olive oil ~in separate bowl, combine 1 cup bread crumbs, 3/4 cup parmasean cheese, 1 tbsp basil, 1 tsp garlic powder, dash of salt, dash of pepper ~coat salmon with breadcrumbs ~bake for 25 minutes along with the potatoes until flaky.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all included the same routine of Country Heat, healthy eats, and work! The exciting news I have to share with everyone is that I have decided to become a Beachbody coach!! I’m so excited about it. Since I’m still new to Beachbody, I don’t plan on going full-force just yet, however I’m super excited to help those get started who want to or have questions about any of the programs, products, costs, etc. I plan on doing a separate post of what Beachbody is, as well as posts with container figurations for a few of the different programs they have!

Another thing I’ve been enjoying is my C25K app! I downloaded it a few weeks ago, and am currently on week 2. It’s nice because you only run 3 days a week (not too overwhelming for a beginner), and I think it’s fun! Timing yourself and watching the clock makes it go super fast for me.

This weekend will go fast but I’m so excited for it!

  1. That salmon looks sooooo good.
    My plans this weekend are to stay home and relax with my kitties. One of my two cats is a little sick and going to the vet next week, and I didn’t want to leave them alone all weekend, so Shameless (on Netflix) marathon for me!
    I haven’t ever done Beachbody but it looks like it works so well for people!
    Ohhhh favorite healthy dish is a tough one…. I guess anything piled with roasted veggies would make me pretty happy πŸ™‚ have a great weekend!

      Roasted veggies… I’m not a huge veggie fan to begin with, and I’m trying to work my way into liking them! Haha You have a great weekend too!

  2. You go girl!!! Glad you are loving it so far. This weekend= study, study, study. However, we do have a big festival going on (essentially in our backyard) so I may take a break to check that out! You can only study so long, right? I have heard of beachbody and I know a tonn of people swear by it. I have never personally done it. I’m a weird bird and don’t really care for shakes all that much. But I know they are known to be delicious and a great program as well! And favorite food= this is hard… ummmmm. I would say hummus, any seafood, boom chica pop popcorn, and PB2. (those are more like healthy snacks πŸ˜‰ )

    1. I hope the studying is going well! The shakes actually aren’t too bad (the chocolate anyway). I can say that since I’ve never believed in them or liked them before! But I don’t use them as a meal replacement, I can see a huge change in my body from all of the nutrients you get from it. That’s why I drink them! πŸ™‚ LOVE seafood and boom chica pop!!
