It’s just been one of those weeks you guys…
Do you ever have those weeks where nothing goes right? That’s pretty much been my entire week, and I’m over it. I’m so glad it’s Friday so I can take this weekend to re-group and re-set my mind into a state where I’m not so stressed, anxious, and over-worked.
And I’m not talking about Monday here. Monday was fine because it was Labor Day and I didn’t have to work. Woo! What’s gone wrong you ask? Well Tuesday felt like a Monday, and I think we all know what Mondays feel like. Wednesday wasn’t too bad but I also worked until about 9pm so it just made it a long day. Thursday I overslept and was almost an hour late to work, and on top of that, work stressed me out A LOT having to deal with some issues. Today, I was halfway to work and realized I forgot to brush my teeth (ew) so I had to stop and pick up toothpaste and a toothbrush making me late for work once again, and now I’m having different issues with my second job. It seems like it’s never going to end! I’m waiting for the clock to strike 5 for the weekend to begin!
What am I going to do this weekend? Well tonight I’m heading over to my friend Kelli’s house to make a healthy shrimp alfredo w/spaghetti squash and peach bellini’s! Then Saturday I have to work, workout, and then Mark and I might head out to try something new. Not sure what yet though! Then I’m hoping Sunday will be a relaxing day cleaning, Netflixing, and regrouping.
How do you deal with stress and anxiety? A bath always helps me when I can just relax. I also like to just take some alone time and do something I haven’t done in a while, like read! What are your ways of de-stressing? Do you have any tips or tricks? I’d love to hear them!
Sorry for such a sad post, but I think everyone has those days (or weeks) and we just have to believe that the next week will be better!
