Happy Wednesday everyone! I can’t believe it’s hump day already. This week has flown! I love long weekends because it makes the week go so much faster! Labor day weekend was an eventful, yet relaxing, weekend. Saturday was another trip to the Great Minnesota Get Together (The State Fair for those of you who don’t know what that is) with the evening spent doing a little work and watching How To Get Away With Murder (my current favorite). Sunday consisted of family time with runs to Target, Costco, and the U of M where my sister is starting her first day of college today! She’s getting so old yet seems still so young to me. It feels like I was just in college which means she shouldn’t be! Anyways that involved a delicious trip to Annie’s Parlor after helping her get stuff organized. Monday I cleaned my entire apartment and couldn’t be happier! Also made a super healthy and delicious dinner (I’ll post about that soon).
But for now I want to share with you my new favorite snack/lunch/dessert. Best part is: 21 Day Fix Approved for those of you doing that!I started Country Heat over after two weeks due to the beginning of the Beachbody challenge (more to come on that). So here is the recipe for the super delicious Peanut Butter, Banana, & Berry Roll-Ups!
Start off with one Flatout wrap. I love these wraps because they are low carb and have SO MUCH PROTEIN! There are different kinds to choose from, but really any will work. Then, spread two teaspoons of peanut butter, or nut butter of your choice.
After that, chop up a half of a banana and whatever kind of berries you like (I had strawberries) and spread them evenly over the wrap. Roll up, and enjoy! It’s that simple! I love peanut butter and banana, but adding the strawberry adds a little bit of tang and makes it oh so delicious! I think making it with almond butter would also be a great choice!
